BACTERIOSTATIC 0.9% SODIUM CHLORIDE STERILEÂ
Not for parenteral, therapeutic, or medical use. For laboratory, industrial, or research applications only.
Bacteriostatic 0.9% Sodium Chloride Water is a laboratory-grade solution containing 0.9% Sodium Chloride (NaCl) in purified water, preserved with 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol. The solution is distilled, filtered, and sterilised, then filled into gamma-irradiated, gas-tight glass vials sealed with pre-sterilised rubber septa and tear-away aluminium crimp seals for secure, controlled handling.
Benzyl alcohol functions as a bacteriostatic agent, helping to inhibit microbial growth in research settings. The solution is suitable for general laboratory use where a sterile, preservative-containing sodium chloride solution is required. Under appropriate laboratory storage and handling, it may remain suitable for use for up to 28 days after the initial vial access.
For laboratory, industrial, or research use only. Not for therapeutic or medical use.
